Clouds
Cloudy for at least the first half of the night. Suffering from a bad cold and having classes the following morning, I opted to not stay up to see if it eventually cleared.

Software/Control PC Issues
Previous problem with guide camera disconnecting on starting any exposure persists even after cycling power on QSI camera via telescope outlets on APC switch rack. (When I did that, focus also jumped by -10,000 units; caught it later slipping quickly by another 4000). Thanks to Gary for pointing out I restarted SAOimage in the wrong order for current setup when restarting. Switched to edges of my AGN program which could be done stacking 5-minute exposures.

Humidity
Clouds, high humidity, chance of precipitation 70%, current closure of the domes, possible snow. These predictions are forecast to last until about 2 am, but the humidity may remain high and the domes will be dripping.I will not be observing this Jan 24/25 and am filing my report now (7 MST Jan 24).

Other
White dwarf time series photometry. Problem logging on traced to human error. On Discord I said it was VPN but later found it was an incorrect port. Guide camera stopped with "Guider Error" in Maxim ~4 hr into night; Maxim lost connection. Disconnected and reconnected multiple times; guider would reconnect but fail the instant an image was requested. Since guider was not crucial I went ahead without. Breadstick was a terrible observing assistant. She vociferously warned me when it was time for night lunch but did not tell me about changing focus issues. No treats for her.

AGN-ionized clouds. Had to switch guider x,y speed settings from 1,-1 to 1,1 for proper guiding. Focus 312000, guider focus 29000. At the start of the night, best-focus images were seasonally appropriate snowman figures, but after a couple of hours and moving the telescope far to the south, they improved. Tried solar-system rates for one object; it took almost 15 minutes to catch up to the input rates (usually takes 5 for sidereal rate on a new target).
